Terms of service

What the site offers you, what it does not promise, and the rules of the tool that publishes InYourGeek videos to TikTok and YouTube.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of:

  • the website inyourgeek.com (the “Site”);
  • the InYourGeek video publishing tool (the “Tool”), described in section 6, which connects to TikTok and YouTube to publish InYourGeek's videos there.

The Site and the Tool are published by SOULIER Sébastien EI, whose details are given in the legal notice. Browsing the Site or using the Tool means you accept these terms.

2. Access to the Site

The Site is free to access, with no account and no sign-up. The publisher strives to keep it available but cannot guarantee it: it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or incidents, without notice.

3. Content

Articles and the watch registers (data breaches, security advisories) are published for information purposes, from cited sources, following the method described on the Site. Despite this care, they may contain errors or be overtaken by events; they replace neither the official advisories of software vendors and authorities, nor professional advice. A reported error is corrected, and the correction is noted.

Articles are written by a language model, illustrations and videos are generated by artificial intelligence; everything is reviewed and published under the publisher's responsibility. On each platform, videos carry the AI-generated content label that platform provides.

4. Intellectual property

The rules for reusing InYourGeek's texts, name and logo are set out in the legal notice. InYourGeek's videos, including Iggy, belong to the publisher: reusing them outside the platforms' own sharing features requires permission.

5. Third-party links and services

The Site links to external sources and platforms — including YouTube, TikTok and X — which apply their own terms. None of them is loaded in the Site's pages: they are only reached if you follow the link.

6. The video publishing tool

6.1 What it does

The Tool is a program developed by the publisher to publish InYourGeek's videos — including the “AI news with Iggy” Shorts — to InYourGeek's own accounts: @inyourgeek on TikTok and @inyourgeek on YouTube. It sends the video and its publishing information to the platform, then checks that the platform received it. It relies on the platforms' official interfaces: TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API, and Google's YouTube API Services. The data it processes is described in its privacy policy.

6.2 Who can use it

The Tool is not a service open to the public. It is used only by the publisher, for the InYourGeek accounts the publisher holds; it is not sold, rented or offered to other creators.

6.3 Platform terms

Using the Tool means publishing to TikTok and YouTube. By using it, you agree to be bound by the TikTok Terms of Service and the YouTube Terms of Service, as well as by each platform's content rules. What these platforms do with the data they receive is governed by their own policies: TikTok Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy.

6.4 Publishing rules

  • only videos produced by InYourGeek, whose rights the publisher holds, are published;
  • every video carries the AI-generated content disclosure the platform provides — the “AI-generated” label on TikTok, the altered or synthetic content disclosure on YouTube;
  • the destination account, privacy level and interaction settings (comments, duets, stitches) are displayed and chosen for every post;
  • nothing is posted to an account without its holder's authorization, given on the platform's own sign-in screen.

6.5 Revoking access

The Tool's access to an account can be revoked at any time: on TikTok, in the app's security and permissions settings, under authorized apps and services; on YouTube, from the Google Account permissions page. The data the Tool kept is then deleted, within the time limits set out in the Tool's privacy policy.

6.6 Availability

The Tool depends on TikTok's and Google's interfaces, which may change, limit or withdraw access. The publisher may modify, suspend or discontinue it at any time.

7. Liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for any unavailability of the Site or the Tool, nor for the content of third-party sites and services they link to. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Personal data

The Site sets no cookies and does not track you. The data processed by the Site is described in its privacy policy, and the data processed by the Tool in the Tool's privacy policy.

9. Changes

These terms may change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, under the conditions provided by law.
