Terranota

ModerateReportedDigital services

A hacker claims to have released for free, on 20 October 2026, a database attributed to Terranota, a French company providing regulatory and urban-planning support to real-estate professionals. The release is said to hold 47,923 rows totalling 186 MB; the row count does not necessarily match the number of distinct people. The samples show names of property owners and contacts, property addresses, professional email addresses, file and cadastral parcel references, and identifiers of notaries and staff. No passwords or banking data appear in the sample; the authenticity of the data and the date or method of extraction are unconfirmed.

Linking an owner's name to the address and characteristics of their property lets a malicious third party target these people, for example with phishing emails or calls referring to a real-estate file.
