ISEP

ModerateReportedEducation

On 19 October 2026, an attacker claimed to have posted on a cybercriminal forum JSON files attributed to the website of ISEP, a French digital engineering school. The claim covers 5,091 rows corresponding to 5,088 people, about 720 KB split into three datasets. The samples show names, email addresses, user identifiers, student profiles, programme or cohort references, and cities and countries. The status of all the accounts is not established, and no password appears in the samples reviewed. ISEP has not confirmed the incident so far.

This information allows a third party to target students with credible phishing messages referring to their school and programme.

Exposed data

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Customer ID
  • Postal address
  • Other personal data

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
