PRREL Ambition (Région Hauts-de-France)

HighReportedEducation

On 17 October 2026, a threat actor claimed to have released a 270 MB archive from PRREL Ambition, a Hauts-de-France regional mentoring and tutoring programme for high-school and university students. The actor states that 1,066 people are affected: 469 students and 597 parents or legal guardians. Samples reviewed by the source show application forms (names, school levels, study plans, family contact details and postal addresses) as well as school insurance certificates showing children's identity and date of birth. These figures have not been independently verified and the organisation has not commented so far. Some of those affected may be minors.

This information would let a malicious third party target families by email, phone or post, using details of the child's schooling and identity.

What you can do

  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
