Courtepaille (restaurant de Bayeux)

HighReportedRetail

On 16 October 2026, a seller announced on a cybercriminal forum the sale of a database of 8,734 customer records linked to the Courtepaille restaurant in Bayeux (Calvados, France). Samples reviewed by FrenchBreaches contain names, email addresses and phone numbers and, depending on the record, postal addresses and dates of birth. They also show internal customer identifiers, loyalty statuses, communication preferences and record modification histories. The file structure includes fields for allergies, internal comments and reservations, with no evidence that they are filled in. The technical origin is unknown, the establishment has not confirmed the incident, and the figure counts records, not necessarily distinct individuals.

These contact details would allow a malicious third party to run targeted phishing attempts, fraudulent calls or messages impersonating the restaurant.
