Caisse des Dépôts (plateforme PEP's)
LowReportedPublic sector
The PEP's platform, which lets public employers manage retirement procedures and their agents' careers, was shut down on 13 October 2026 for security reasons. On 16 October, the Caisse des Dépôts stated that the accounts of a few employers had been accessed illegitimately through social engineering. The platform progressively reopened on 19 October. The number of affected accounts, the data actually viewed and any data extraction have not been specified. Depending on account rights, PEP's gives access to individual information about agents (career, pay, civil status, social security number).
A third party holding a compromised employer account could, depending on the account's rights, view or modify career and retirement information of public agents; no actual access to such data has been confirmed so far.
