Quitt.ch
CriticalReportedDigital services
On 9 October 2026, a user of a cybercriminal forum advertised the sale of a database attributed to Quitt.ch, a Swiss platform for the administrative management of household employment. The listing claims about 29,691 rows, 29,435 people and 197 MB. It mentions 29,680 email addresses, 24,919 phone numbers, 24,513 Swiss AVS numbers and 13,516 IBANs, and the published sample shows names, dates of birth and postal addresses. These figures come from the seller: the authenticity of the database and the real scale of the incident have not been confirmed.
If authentic, the combination of identity, date of birth, AVS number and IBAN could facilitate identity theft and targeted phishing attempts.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- Watch your statements. On any unknown debit, block the card and request a refund — French law (art. L133-18) entitles you to it.
- These documents enable identity theft, and cannot be reissued at will. Keep the notification letter: it proves where the leak came from if an account is opened in your name.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
