LowReportedEducation
Bordeaux Sciences Agro detected unauthorised access to its internship agreement management application on 8 September 2026. A third party was able to extract personal data about students, tutors and contacts at partner companies, taken from agreements recorded between the 2020-2021 and 2026-2027 academic years. The institution states that no passwords, login identifiers or bank details are affected. The number of people involved and the exact data extracted have not been specified. The CNIL was notified on 10 September, and the people concerned are being informed individually.
Internship-related contact details can be used for fraud attempts aimed at partner companies, such as fake requests to change bank details or bogus messages about an internship agreement.
