TRACFIN
ModerateConfirmedPublic sector
Between late June and mid-July 2026, a subcontractor of the operator running the support module for the online declaration portal used to file reports with TRACFIN, France's financial intelligence unit, was compromised. The intrusion exposed the contact details (name, first name, job title, email, phone number) of 136 professional declarants, along with the content of 213 support requests sent to technical support. According to ANSSI, no suspicious activity report was exposed. The administration ended its relationship with the subcontractor after discovering the incident.
The exposed professional contact details (name, job title, email, phone number) expose the affected declarants to a risk of targeted phishing attempts.

What you can do
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
