QualiCharge

ModerateConfirmedPublic sector

QualiCharge, a service managing electric vehicle charging infrastructure data for France's Ministry of Ecological Transition, was compromised through the exploitation of a Metabase vulnerability. According to ANSSI's REACTIV situation report published on 30 September 2026, the attacker exfiltrated 102,000 search sessions along with information from about a hundred technical accounts, including usernames, email addresses and hashed passwords. The vulnerability has since been patched and the suspicious sessions closed.

The exposed credentials and hashed passwords for technical accounts could allow unauthorized access to QualiCharge's administration tools if those passwords were cracked.

Exposed data

  • Customer ID
  • Email address
  • Password (hashed)

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Change that password — and everywhere you reused it. That is how a leak spreads to your other accounts.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication on the affected accounts: a stolen password is then no longer enough.
  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
