Distinxion

HighReportedRetail

An individual using the alias RedStone claims to have obtained, via the extranet of a CRM used by the French car-dealer network Distinxion (operated by Réseaux Impulxion, formerly autos.fr), a sales-prospecting database. Published on 30 September 2026 on a forum, it reportedly contains 518,903 rows corresponding, according to the hacker, to around 415,990 distinct individuals — clients, prospects and leads — with names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses and, for some records, dates of birth. Neither Distinxion nor Réseaux Impulxion has publicly confirmed the incident to date.

The combination of identity, postal and phone contact details and, for some individuals, date of birth facilitates targeted phishing or fraudulent solicitation attempts.

Exposed data

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • Date of birth

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
