Aestria

ModerateReportedDigital services

On September 26, 2026, an actor posted a hacking claim on a cybercriminal forum targeting Aestria, a French IT services and cybersecurity company based in Metz. Ten internal databases (ERP management tools, technical support, websites) were reportedly exfiltrated after exploiting a flaw in the client extranet. The data reportedly includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, login credentials and hashed passwords, as well as information on clients, suppliers, orders and invoices. The number of affected people is unknown, and Aestria has not confirmed the incident at this stage.

The credentials and hashed passwords, combined with client and supplier contact details, could be used for targeted phishing attempts impersonating Aestria or its business partners.

Exposed data

  • Email address
  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • Customer ID
  • Order history
  • Connection data (IP, logs)
  • Employment data
  • Password (hashed)

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.

What you can do

  • Change that password — and everywhere you reused it. That is how a leak spreads to your other accounts.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication on the affected accounts: a stolen password is then no longer enough.
  • Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
  • You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
