NaturaBuy
ModerateConfirmedRetail
NaturaBuy, a French marketplace for hunting, fishing, shooting and outdoor gear, confirmed it was the target of an external cyberattack on September 10, 2026. Attackers extracted data belonging to some members: name, email address, postal address, phone number, NaturaBuy username, and password in encrypted form. The company states that plaintext passwords, bank data, identity documents, firearm licence (SIA) numbers, weapon serial numbers, and order history were not exposed. The number of members affected has not been disclosed.
The combination of full contact details and login identifiers facilitates targeted phishing attempts or credential-stuffing on other services.

You are only affected if you had an account or an order with this organisation.
What you can do
- Change that password — and everywhere you reused it. That is how a leak spreads to your other accounts.
- Turn on two-factor authentication on the affected accounts: a stolen password is then no longer enough.
- Expect phishing attempts quoting your name and this company. A message that knows your details is not legitimate for that reason.
- You can ask the organisation exactly what was exposed about you (right of access), and complain to the DPA if no answer comes within a month.
